Your PrivatAccess medical insurance gives you quick access to professional medical advice and planned care via private healthcare providers. Please start by downloading our app in the App Store or Google Play.

I need:

Emergency care

Your PrivatAccess medical insurance does not provide access to emergency care nor does it give you priority access to the public healthcare system.

In an emergency, always seek immediate medical treatment. Call the County Council’s medical advice line on 1177 to receive advice about what to do.

In the event of danger to life, always dial the emergency number 112.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Call 0771-10 50 15.

If you are abroad: call + 46 771 10 50 15

The EAP allows you to receive, for example, advice on stress, relationship problems, mental health problems such as anxiety and depression, conflicts at work, alcohol and drug addiction, gambling addiction and legal, financial or lifestyle-related issues. It is also possible to receive support in your professional management or HR role. This may, for example, include advice on how to tackle difficult conversations, conflicts, employees who are ill or at risk of becoming ill, labour law, or laws and regulations regarding the work environment.

Assistance is available by phone every day around the clock. A licensed psychologist or social worker will be available on normal working days 08:00–19:00, and, if necessary, a time for further assistance can be arranged with a specialist within five working days. Assistance is initially offered by phone, but a face-to-face meeting can also be arranged, depending on the nature of the case. At other times (normal working days between 19:00–08:00 and public holidays) a crisis-trained nurse (Norwegian- and English-speaking) is available to provide general advice.

In order to make use of the EAP, you need to have PrivatAccess Gold medical insurance with Euro Accident. You do not need to contact us before you make use of the service and the service is free of charge. The EAP is also included in our PlanSjuk (Sickness Plan) medical insurance.

Our external EAP partner is SOS International.
